George P. Bush enters politics
by Isaiah Webster III
George Prescott Bush, 37, the grandson and nephew of two American presidents, has filed to run for Texas land commissioner. This move has been telegraphed for years, and he’ll probably win the post easily. Without a doubt, in a few years he will run for Texas governor, and eventually, the presidency. Unlike his father, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, I think that George P. Bush will make a compelling choice for president.
Consider this: He is the product of a long political family. He is young enough to take advantage of the family name, while not being burdened by its recent down fails. His mother is Hispanic. And he speaks Spanish fluently. In so many ways, he is the perfect person to revitalize the Republican Party 10 years from now. Keep an eye on this one.
